Our Painting Party is held once a year and is a great day of painting. The classes are taught by teachers from our club or one of our sister clubs in the area.
We offer several 3-hour classes in the morning session (9:00 to 12:00) and several 3-hour classes in the afternoon session (1:00 to 4:00) with a break for lunch in-between. Come for one class or two -- it's your choice!
The classes vary from beginner to intermediate and may be in acrylics, watercolor or another medium, and the price includes surface, paints, and any other supplies needed for the project.
You do not need to be a club member, the Painting Party is open to all at no extra charge. So if you have been thinking about learning to paint or trying a new painting medium, this is a great way to give it a try without having to buy a lot of supplies.
Throughout the day we have Drawings for Prizes and we have the Country Store selling unwanted painting items (wood surfaces, books, brushes, etc.) that our members bring in to sell
-- one man's junk is another man's treasurer!
